Alabaster Shade Tree Requirements

On a lot that is 70 feet or less in width, the owner shall plant at least two shade trees in the front or side yards, and at least one shade tree in the rear yard if feasible. On a lot that is more than 70 feet in width, the owner shall plant at least one shade tree for each 30 feet in width, and at least two shade trees in the rear yard if feasible. A list of approved shade trees is included in the ordinance.
