Albany Comprehensive Plan Promoting Energy Conservation and Renewable Resources

This rule establishes the City of Albany’s goals to achieve efficient utilization of all types of energy and maximize the conservation of non-renewable resources. This includes the development of methods and regulations to promote the use of solar energy, such as by requiring subdivision and building site designs to show maximum solar orientation and covenants that address solar access protection within new developments.
