Albany Ordinance Permitting Pervious Materials for Parking and Stormwater Control

This Albany Ordinance permits the use of pervious or semipervious materials — such as porous asphalt, open joint pavers, and reinforced grass or gravel grids — for off-street parking and loading areas, provided they are maintained regularly and approved for structural and drainage performance. Use near stormwater features like bioswales is encouraged. In the PB-O District, their use is mandatory.
