Anchorage Landscaping Standards for Off-Street Parking and Loading

This rule establishes standards to ensure that parking facilities are designed to perform in a safe, efficient manner. It is also the intent of this section to attenuate the visual, environmental, and economic impacts of parking facilities, and encourage other modes of site access. Specific objectives of this section include: E(2D) – Development sites with more than 200 parking spaces shall increase the overall amount of area devoted to parking lot interior landscaping area to an area equal to at least 12 percent of the parking lot, including parking, internal circulation, and appurtenant driveways
