Arvada General Landscaping Guidelines

The Arvada general landscaping guidelines outline the city’s landscaping requirements to preserve natural features, slow stormwater runoff, moderate the urban heat island effect, and promote energy- and water-efficient landscape designs. They also encourage planting deciduous trees along streets to provide shade in the summer and winter solar access.
