Arvada Tree Removal and Replacement Policy

The Arvada tree removal and replacement policy requires healthy trees be preserved in new developments whenever feasible. If preservation requirements are not met, applicants must replace damaged or destroyed trees at a specified rate or pay a penalty equal to the replacement cost plus 100% of those trees, which must be used for planting trees on-site or nearby public property.
