Auburn Tree Commission & Greenspace Advisory Board

Auburn’s code establishes a Tree Commission and a Greenspace Advisory Board to enhance urban forestry and greenspace management. The Tree Commission advises the city council on tree planting, maintenance, removal, and protection, recommending species for public spaces and identifying hazardous trees for removal. The Greenspace Advisory Board focuses on acquiring, maintaining, and improving greenspace areas, collaborating with local, state, and federal agencies.
