Austin Green Stormwater Infrastructure Guidelines

Applicants are directed to consider methods of incorporating green stormwater infrastructure into the right-of-way. These strategies are encouraged to be incorporated within the extension areas of the pedestrian zone created by curb bulb-outs at pedestrian crossing locations near intersections and midblock and through speed management design strategies that create opportunities for more green space behind a curb.
