Austin Tree Requirements for Residential Subdivision

For all residential subdivisions, each single family lot at least two trees of at least two different species listed in the city’s Environmental Criteria Manual, Appendix F (Descriptive Categories of Tree Species). On small lots, the tree requirements are higher, and trees required under this section must be planted or preserved in accordance with the Environmental Criteria Manual.
