Baltimore Urban Heat Island Analysis

Baltimore’s B’more Cool initiative analyzes heat vulnerabilities to inform heat warning and heat island mitigation activities. The initiative lists permeable surfaces, green roofs, urban tree canopies, and green space on vacant lands as mitigative solutions to urban heat islands.
