Bangor Ordinance Limiting Impervious Surfaces in Recreation Facilities

This Bangor ordinance establishes that swimming pools, tennis courts, skating areas, and other active recreational facilities must be properly landscaped and in no case create an impervious surface greater than 25%. All parking areas for these facilities must be screened with natural vegetation and feature shade trees and internal green areas to calm traffic and reduce heat generation and glare.
