Bend Standards for Low Impact Stormwater Management

This rule requires that the use of low impact development techniques to manage stormwater on site must be consistent with the City’s Central Oregon Stormwater Manual. In addition, low impact stormwater management in Bend must include at least one of the following techniques:
(1) Use of on-site pervious paving materials to minimize impervious surfaces allowed within off-street and on-street parking areas and other areas within a development site; (2) Provision of an eco-roof or rooftop garden; (3) Use of drywells; (4) Provision of parking integrated into building footprint; (5) Provision of rain gardens and bioretention areas on site to filter stormwater runoff; (6) Shared stormwater facilities between adjacent properties.
