Bentonville Traffic Calming Design Criteria

Bentonville’s design criteria to promote and implement traffic calming strategies law out a series of measures that the city can take to calm traffic, arranged from minor to major. For each type of intervention, the city has recorded a set of advantages and disadvantages, flagging for instance the high cost of creating chicanes and roundabouts relative to other measures, but also the opportunity to add landscaping in those features.
