Boulder Solar Energy Rebates

Boulder offers a sales and use tax rebate for residents and businesses that install solar electric or solar thermal (hot water) systems. The city may refund approximately 15% of the sales and use tax paid on materials and permits for the installation. To qualify, applicants must submit a rebate application within 12 months of the city’s final inspection.
