Broken Arrow Community Forestry Plan

The City of Broken Arrow Code of Ordinances § 16.5-16 states that it shall be the responsibility of the city tree board to review and approve periodically a written plan for the care, preservation, trimming, planting, replanting, removal or disposition of public trees and shrubs. Such plan shall be developed by the city manager or his designee and shall incorporate an inventory of the existing trees on rights-of-way, parks and other public property. The tree board shall ensure that the plan will be in conformance with the goals and objectives of the Broken Arrow Comprehensive Plan and Ordinance No. 2151, landscape requirements. Upon approval and adoption, the recommended plan by the tree board shall constitute the official community forestry plan.
