Brookings Street Standards for Low Impact Designs

The purpose of this standard is to create standards that encourage street improvements in the City to include low impact designs that help capture and filter out stormwater. Low Impact Designs include permeable pavement and storm drainage systems that utilize engineered bio-swales, or other techniques/best management practices reviewed and approved by the City. A refund equal to the percentage of the storm drain component of the system development charge may be given by implementing low impact techniques.
