Centennial Street Tree Requirement

The Centennial street tree requirement mandates that street trees must be planted along both sides of new streets, if there is sufficient space and authorization from the responsible entity. Trees should be spaced 25 to 50 feet apart, with adjustments for wide tree lawns or medians, and must not obstruct sightlines or safety. Large, single-stemmed trees are preferred, but ornamental trees may be used where overhead power lines or space constraints exist, ensuring minimal litter and proper fit within the right-of-way.
