Charleston Cluster Development Zoning

Charleston’s cluster development regulations allowed developers to bypass density limits elsewhere in the zoning code provided a fixed percentage (about 40-50% of a total development) remained open as common space set aside and deeded to the city as a park. The provision sunsetted in 2020.
