Charleston Street Tree Program

In addition to the City of Charleston’s own tree planting, the city “allows individual citizens, developers, and concerned community groups to contribute to the expansion of the city’s urban forest” by paying the Department of Parks the cost of purchasing trees, planting, and maintaining those trees for their first year.
