Clark County Tree Preservation During Development

Sec. 30.40.01(D)(6) requires the preservation of significant and drought-tolerant trees. Any significant tree defined as drought-tolerant by the Southern Nevada Water Authority shall be preserved during construction and maintained on the property and any existing drought-tolerant tree should be preserved and maintained where possible.

Code also requires a tree protection zone for trees being preserved during construction or site development and to mitigate the loss of a significant tree with replacement trees.
