Cleveland’s Clean and Equitable Energy Future Plan

In 2018, Cleveland committed to powering itself entirely through clean energy by 2050. The City created an action-oriented framework to guide its energy transition. Cleveland’s Clean and Equitable Energy Plan analyzes the current and projected energy use by the City its community. It includes modeled scenarios which demonstrate various Clean Energy Pathways the City can take to reach its renewable target. Based on modeled energy efficiency, solar, wind, storage, and transportation pathways, this document identifies feasible, impactful, and equitable policy and program actions.
