Commerce City Parking Area Design Standard

The Commerce City parking area design standard encourages the use of porous pavements and eco-friendly materials, such as grass-crete or eco-stone, to reduce stormwater runoff, improve water quality, and protect air quality. When impervious surface is used, all driveways, parking areas, aisles and turnarounds shall have on-site collection or infiltration of stormwater to eliminate sheet flow of such waters onto public rights-of-way and adjacent property. Outdoor storage areas must be paved with at least recycled asphalt or road base.
