Conway Density Bonuses for Conservation Subdivisions

In Conservation Subdivisions developers can access a menu of density bonuses available for voluntarily incorporating a range of green and efficient measures. Measures include, for example, increasing the amount of open space in a development; incorporating site-specific stormwater management facilities like raingardens and bioswales; planting native trees and shrubs to conserve water and increase wildlife habitat; and implementing “state-of-the-art energy efficiency and sustainable building standards.” Developers that incorporate these measures access increased density, maximum height, and reduced set-back requirements.
