Corvallis Ordinance to Establish Urban Forest Management Fee

This ordinance creates an Urban Forest Management Fee has been created for the purpose of supporting a portion of the Urban Forest program and is limited to the public right-of-way within the corporate limits of the City of Corvallis. The City of Corvallis has determined the necessity of providing management and upkeep of the City’s Urban Forest, with such management to include activities that are necessary in order that the health, safety and welfare of the City and its inhabitants may be safeguarded and that the operating principles for the long-term viability of a mixed-aged, sustainable urban forest are implemented. The Urban Forest Management Fee is imposed upon all utility accounts within the City limits. (§3.09.030)
