Cottage Grove Development Standards for Vegetation and Urban Forestry

This standard establishes rules to promote community health, safety, and welfare by protection natural vegetation and setting development standards for landscaping, street trees, fences, and walls. Trees provide climate control through shading during summer months and wind screening during winter. Section 14.32.400 Street Trees sets standards for and requires planting of trees along all streets for shading, comfort, and aesthetic purposes.
