DC Low-Income Decarbonization Pilot Program

The Low Income Decarbonization Pilot (LIDP) investigated the extent to which decarbonizing homes could reduce energy burdens for the District’s low-income residents, while meaningfully reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The goal of the LIDP was to obtain data on the total costs, benefits, challenges, resident impact, and cost effectiveness from installing energy efficiency measures in income-qualified homes. Includes solar installation and offsets.
