Example of a property lot being exempt from real property taxation so long as it remains a community/urban garden. If the property stops being used as a community garden and is used for any other purpose, then all of the previously forgiven unpaid taxes/penalties and all property taxes accruing thereafter become due to the District of Columbia, with 5% interest.
