Des Moines Free Small Trees Program

The City of Des Moines conducts a Street Tree Planting Program through the non-profit Trees Forever, which offers residents the opportunity to have a tree planted on the grassy space along the street in the right of way at no charge. The City also offers free small trees to property owners to plant on their properties through the Tiny Trees Program (City of Des Moines Tiny Trees Program).
