Des Moines Sustainable Stormwater Management Practices

Code of Ordinances Sec. 42-563 states that sustainable stormwater management practices identified in the Iowa Stormwater Management Manuel, such as rain gardens, bioswales, permeable pavement, or other such technologies, may be utilized and may be required when determined reasonably practicable by the city engineer.
