Evansville Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs) Regulations

Construction plans for non-small developments must include BMPs to manage stormwater quality, such as swales, retention ponds, buffer strips, permeable pavements, and parking lot tree islands. Plans must detail stabilization measures, pollutant controls, and long-term maintenance procedures to ensure proper BMP function. Post-construction designs must prioritize open spaces, tree planting, and permeable surfaces to minimize impervious areas and enhance infiltration.
