This rule establishes general provisions for zoning districts in Juneau. This includes: (l) – Stormwater management. Facilities for the control and disposal of stormwater must be adequate to serve the development and areas draining through the development. Management shall be in accordance with the Stormwater Best Management Practices manual. Where appropriate, natural drainage channels, swales, or other similar areas within the open space may be used for stormwater management at the development. The developer shall provide the CBJ Engineering and Public Works Department with an evaluation of offsite drainage outfalls for the additional runoff contributed by the alternative residential subdivision. The commission may require construction of offsite drainage improvements necessary to accommodate additional runoff from the development.
