Greenville Tree Commission

The commission provides recommendations to the mayor and council on tree planting, maintenance, and removal for public spaces and assists in creating master street plans by advising on tree species. While public utilities and the city retain authority to manage trees for safety and infrastructure purposes, private property owners are unrestricted in removing trees on their property.
