Heflin Green Stormwater Infrastructure Encouragement

Developers are encouraged to adopt creative and innovative practices to minimize polluted runoff, such as natural buffers, retention of mature trees, seeded drainage swales, porous pavement, gravel or turf parking areas, and wetland creation for stormwater detention. These methods should align with existing stormwater infrastructure and adequately manage runoff without excessive maintenance.
