Honolulu Aims to Expand Renewable Energy Planning and Expedite Permitting

Actions 7.1 – 7.4 of Honolulu’s Climate Action Plan aims to streamline permitting for solar PV, which includes distributed battery technologies on commercial, multifamily, and townhome rooftops through the use of online platforms. It also aims to launch a Solarize Oahu pilot to increase residential solar access for low to moderate income individuals.
