Honolulu Plan to Improve Watershed Health and Manage Flooding

The policy goals of Strategy 6 of the Climate-Ready Oahu include slowing and retaining runoff in public areas to reduce flooding (6.1), enhancing conservation and reforestation in key watersheds (6.2), boosting stream maintenance efforts through partnerships (6.3), implementing stream buffers to restore natural systems (6.4), and strengthening buffer zones around wildfire-prone areas (6.5).
