Honolulu Regulations on Energy-Saving Rooftop Features

This Honolulu Ordinance permits energy-saving rooftop features—such as vented ceilings or louvered skylights—and they may exceed zoning height limits by up to 5 feet, as long as the building is not a detached house or duplex, and the design undergoes review to ensure it is visually appealing and harmonizes with surrounding architecture.
