Hood River Municipal Code to Establish Housing Development Standards for Stormwater Management

This rule establishes Housing Design Standards to help manage stormwater in Hood River. The code provides that low impact development techniques for storm water management should be utilized wherever possible, including the use of porous solid surfaces in parking areas and walkways, directing roof drains and parking lot runoff to landscape beds, green or living roofs, and rain barrels.
