Irvine Stormwater and Urban Runoff Ordinance

This Irvine ordinance regulating stormwater and urban infrastructure requires streets, roads, highways and freeways of 5,000 square feet or more of paved surface to incorporate USEPA guidance, “Managing Wet Weather with Green Infrastructure: Green Streets” to the maximum extent practicable. It also encourages low impact development and sets out the process for inspection and enforcement of stormwater standards.
