Jamestown Tree Protection and Utility Trimming Rules

Jamestown’s code of ordinances makes it unlawful to remove any tree on any “any street, alley, boulevard, or public land” without written approval. Public utilities, before trimming any trees for clearance for wires or for “any other purpose,” must obtain a permit from the city forester.
