Klamath Falls Code to Establish Public Tree Regulations

This rule establishes the processes and standards to minimize uncontrolled cutting or destruction of trees within Klamath Falls, in recognition of the value of the urban forest for its effect on air quality and wildlife habitat, and as a noise barrier and visual contrast to the developed urban environment. The code makes it unlawful to remove a public tree without first securing a permit from the City Planning Department.
