Lakewood Solar Ready Building Code Amendments

Under local amendments to the International Energy Conservation Code, Lakewood has adopted Appendix RB that provides for solar-ready provisions in detached one and two family houses. The Appendix requires solar-ready construction for new homes with 600 or more square feet in roof area oriented between 110 and 270 degrees of true north.
