Lansing Special District Code for Green Development Options

Lansing’s zoning code allows the city to grant additional flexibility or development options where development plans include “Low impact development” (LID, e.g. green roof, on-site stormwater retention). These include use of alternative stormwater management design that may include green roofs, natural retention systems, porous pavement alternatives, or other energy or water conserving applications. This applies to only special districts.
