Laramie Landscaping Requirements

Code of Ordinances § 15.14.050(C) requires that low-water, drought-tolerant plants be used for all new landscaping in multifamily, commercial, institutional, and industrial uses. Plant materials shall be selected from the plant list maintained by the city. A xeriscape option is set forth as an alternative to conventional landscaping requirements. Low-water, drought-tolerant plant materials shall make up eighty-five percent of all plant materials used and shall be selected from the Recommended Trees and Shrubs for Laramie, Wyoming list maintained by the city.

§ 15.14.050(E) requires either a gardens cape or xeriscape option for residential front yard landscaping.
