Lincoln City Municipal Code to Encourage Sustainable Building Design

This rule seeks to encourage sustainable designs for building construction and renovation. When used, sustainable technologies must be an integral part of the building’s form and must be designed to include exterior elements visible from public right-of-way. Some examples include: (1) Implementing passive heating and cooling techniques during building design; (2) Controlling solar heat gain and glare through external shading devices; (3) Ensuring solar panel installations minimize glare reflected onto adjacent properties
