Long Beach Green Building Ordinance

Long Beach’s green building code establishes that city buildings more than 7,500 square feet must obtain at least LEED silver certification. The ordinance also establishes that large development projects must at least be “certified” by LEED standards, but density and parking bonuses are available for developments that reach LEED gold or higher.
