Louisville-Jefferson County Tree Ordinance

The Louisville-Jefferson County Metro Government Code of Ordinances Chapter “Trees” requires that all public trees that are removed must be replaced within one year. The chapter establishes the permitting process for planting, maintenance, and replacement of public trees.
