Macon Stormwater Management Policy

Establishes minimum stormwater management requirements and controls for new development and redevelopment in the County. Specifications and standards for stormwater management are outlined in a new Local Design Manual (LDM) which supplements and clarifies information from the state stormwater management manual, and lists acceptable stormwater treatment practices. All stormwater management design plans must include on-site green infrastructure and stormwater management practices unless specific arrangements are made to manage post-construction stormwater runoff in an off-site or regional stormwater management practice that provides a level of stormwater quality and quantity control equal to or greater than that which could be provided by on-site GSI.
