Madison Solar Exemption Code

Madison’s code requires most rooftop equipment to be screened from public view, but specifically excludes rooftop solar from that requirement. The code notes that “All rooftop equipment, with the exception of solar and wind equipment, shall be screened from view from adjacent streets and public rights-of-way.”
