Massachusetts Greening the Gateway Cities Program

The Greening the Gateway Cities Program is a tree planting program run by state, local, and federal partners that aims to increase tree canopy cover in parts of certain Massachusetts cities that have lower tree canopy, higher render populations, and in several other targeted areas. The program is specifically conceived of to address the urban heat island effect.
