Maynard Planning Board Landscape Regulations

The purpose of this document is (1) to outline the Planning Board’s required Landscape Design Drawing Requirements to accompany applications for Site Plan Approval, Special Permit or Design Review, and 2) to provide Landscape Design Standards to guide the landscape design of all new project proposals. Includes efforts to protect and preserve existing plant material with an emphasis on trees, and lists standards for plants, soil, and trees. Outlines restoration with native vegetation in the event that topography is altered, and long-term management of invasive species. Also includes vegetation and tree canopy use in streetscapes, buffers, and parking areas.
